ANTIQUE KERR STERLING SILVER "OLD MOTHER HUBBARD" NURSERY RHYME CHILD'S PLATE

An unusual antique sterling silver child's plate with incised "Old Mother Hubbard" nursery rhyme design, from William B. Kerr & Co. Features the nursery rhyme's title along the plate lip surrounded by images of Mother Hubbard and her dog. Measures approx. 1"h x 7.5" in diameter, weighs approx. 220g/7.7g. It's in good antique condition, with just light general wear commensurate with age, including tarnish, surface scratches, and a few slight dings/small dents (one to the plate bowl, some visible to plate lip underside, etc.) - see pictures. This plate is also monogrammed with three intials at its center. Its underside is faintly stamped with the William B. Kerr maker's mark (c. 1880's-1907), 1516, STERLING. This is a great piece full of antique charm!
