Up for sale is a magnificent vintage depression glass 6 ounce sherbet goblet in the hard-to-find “Wildflower” etched pattern by Cambridge Glass! Cambridge made the Wildflower pattern during the 1940s, and it’s extremely popular and collectible. There are seventeen sherbet goblets for sale in this auction – the bid price is for one goblet, and the buyer has the option of taking as many of the others as desired at the same price. The finely-etched pattern contains lots of beautifully detailed flowers, vines buds and leaves, and they could easily double as wine or champagne goblets (it's exactly the same as the saucer champagne goblet, but on a slightly shorter stem). They flare beautifully, and they stand on very fancy stems! All five goblets are in remarkable condition! There are no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny bright with no stains, scratches, oxidation or other unsightly marks. They stand 4 3/4 inches high, and they measure 4 1/8 inches in diameter across the top. The Wildflower pattern can be seen photographed either in Coe’s “Elegant Glass – Early, Depression & Beyond”, or in Gene Florence’s “Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era”. These sherbet goblets are shown there for .00 each. I have other pieces in this beautiful pattern for sale in my Store, so be sure to take a look! The buyer will pay shipping and insurance (insurance is automatically included in the shipping calculator as a “handling fee”). Shipping will be combined for the buyer of more than one item whenever practical. Expedited shipping is available upon request, but normal shipping is within 3-4 days after receipt of PayPal payment (if other payment options are desired, please don’t hesitate to inquire). Please feel free to e-mail any other questions or requests for additional photos, and thanks very much for looking!! Be sure to see my other fantastic items by clicking on the link above.
