8" diameter.
Any red on plate is simply reflection of cloth.
Weight of plate is 341.3 grams.  Note that the golden circle on the back of plate is probably not silver, but is included in this weight.
Plate marked sterling on edge.
Marked on base as shown Geo Wash. Mint. 1972 registration # 2625.
Outer box quite good.
Inner box has torn corners & folds.
Original ribbon connection between inner box lid & base.
Loss of leather top skin to back of inner box as shown, & scratch to front of same box.
