Symonds Vintage Antique Cast Iron Metal Wall Grate Victorian Pat 1900 No Damper

12 x 12 grate only - no damper plate.
Symonds was a premier cast iron heat grate/damper manufacturer in the 1800's well into the 1900's.
Some history of the company is shown in the last picture from my research. This item was patented on September 18, 1900. Classic design.
This can be used for a very vintage wall decoration or even a table decoration as it unfolds. See pictures. Finish varies with grates - not all the same patina, surface rust or paint residue. Absolutely stunning wall decoration.
