Description: -
An early Victorian Scottish sterling silver salver. The salver is of circular form, with scroll and foliate cast rim, chased and engraved with scrolls, the centre engraved with foliage and flowerheads leading to a blank cartouche, raised on three scroll feet.
The hallmarks are located to the reverse with the makers mark 'M&S' (Marshall & Sons), Edinburgh assay mark, and date letter 'D' for 1845.
