Vintage Antique Ornate Art Deco Symonds Cast Iron Heat Grate Wall Register Vent

Up for auction is this Antique Symonds Ornate Cast Iron Wall Heat Register Vent. The vent measures approx. 11 5/8” x 11 5/8” the opening measures approx. 8 1/2” x 8 1/2” the actual grate portion measures approx. 7” x 5 1/2” and the back of the vent where it attaches to the duct opening measures approx. 9 3/4” x 9 3/4” The wall register vent still has the shut off damper plate & hook closure. The back is marked Symonds Pat Sept. 18 1900, June 25 1907, June - 17-17, Feb 24-14  #232 The grate vent is in excellent condition for its age, no thick paint, no cracks, no breaks.
This architecturual salavage cast iron wall register grate would make the perfect replacement / addition to your home remodeling / renovation project or can be repurposed into a wonderfully unique steampunk style decor piece.
This antique wall register vent came was reclaimed from a home in the Dogtown area in St. Louis, Missouri. I have several up for auction if you are needing more than one. Please check my other auctions I always combine shipping when possible!
