Vintage E&JL Silver Plate Clam Shell Butter Dish That Closes W/ Knife 5" D

Description

These are the pictures of the silver plate over brass clam butter dish with knife from E.J. Leek. The dish has three small feet on the bottom. Around the edge of the dish is a raised design of dots.  There is a push button handle at back of clam to open it. On the inside above the hinge it identifies this as a product of E.J. Leek Made in England. On the bottom below the hinge it is stamped S.P. over Brass. The knife has a clam design on handle. On he back of the handle it is stamped E.J. Leek EPNS Celtic plate Made in England. Dish is in excellent condition. Knife has some minor scratches on blade.
