Vintage New Haven Silverplate Cut Etched Dome Cover Butter Dish

Description

Beautiful old silver-plated, domed butter dish.  Made by Rogers, Smith & Co. of New Haven, Conn.  Domed lid is attached to the butter dish and rolls down to the bottom of the dish.  Has the knife rack on the side to hold the butter knife.  Decorated on the sides with Cherub busts and grape clusters.  Stands approximately 10 3/4" tall to top of handle and approximately 7" wide.  Please see all pics.
