    Description

    Nice vintage pair of silverplate rococo style pieces:  Wallace "Baroque" butter dish with lid (does not have a liner), and Webster-Wilcox (part of International Silver) Grande Regency large oval bread tray.  Both pieces date from 1960s and are in overall good condition although there is a very small pitt mark on bottom of butter dish, and a few small pitt marks on bottom of bread tray.  The butter set measures 9 1/2 inches in length and is 4 1/8 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall (with lid in place).  It will hold 1/4 lb. of butter.  The bread tray is large measuring 13 1/2 inches long, 7 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches in height.  They both have a shiny mirror patina.  Note:  I hand polish and buff all my silver with a fine European polishing cream so there are no "surprises" under tarnish and they arrive clean and ready to use.  Both pieces are still very lovely and useable.  Please see photos for accurate pictures and I have also photographed the trademarks on these pieces.  These are beautiful rococo designed pieces of silverplate and look lovely on a holiday or buffet table.  I am in process of downsizing after over 50 years of collecting so decided to sell these, and have priced very reasonably.
